Grace is an entrepreneur, photographer, and credentialed International Coaching Federation (ICF ACC) coach dedicated to empowering women and communities to live purposefully and authentically. Her mission is to help people connect with their hearts, embrace their true selves, and lead meaningful lives.
Since 2000, Grace has been telling stories through video and photography. She has photographed diverse subjects, including refugees, high-profile personalities, and celebrities like Sarimah Ibrahim, Marion Caunter, Red Hong Yi, and Hannah Yeoh. Combining creative storytelling and compassionate coaching, Grace inspires confidence, self-reflection, and personal growth.
Alleena is a people and business programme facilitator who elevates people through simple, strategic, and actionable solutions. She motivates individuals to express their inner brand through purposeful communication, getting results and transforming individuals to flourish in their organisations.
Alleena founded Yellow Tree Malaysia, set up to train and consult corporations, MSMEs and under-served communities (women, indigenous and refugees) in both soft and hard skills. Having spent almost a decade in a leading MNC, Alleena developed extensive strategic knowledge in brand, marketing and business management.
Emily Chin is an entrepreneur and community leader who is passionate about celebrating achievements and empowering others. As the Co-Founder of Female Founders Malaysia, Emily has helped create a platform where women entrepreneurs can connect, grow, and thrive. Her work reflects her deep commitment to fostering collaboration and amplifying the voices of women in business.
Emily is also the co-founder of Medalized, backed by family business with over 50 years of excellence in crafting awards and recognition products. Emily’s work at Medalized aligns seamlessly with her role in Female Founders Malaysia, as both are rooted in her belief that success is not just about reaching goals. It’s about inspiring others to achieve theirs. Her dedication to recognizing and celebrating milestones reflects her passion for fostering growth, both for individuals and organizations.
Lily Sim is a seasoned community builder, having built various communities over the years, such as Female Founders Malaysia and Yolopacers Run Club. Lily’s professional background includes seven years at PwC, where she gained experience in audit and business development. Inspired by the healthy lifestyles of Melburnians during her working experience there, Lily has since dedicated her time to develop the fitness and wellness industry in Malaysia through various fitness ventures.
She has since founded Strive, a wellness and fitness app that is focused on women’s health and the needs of busy women. As a mother of twins, Lily understands the challenges of juggling personal and professional commitments. She hopes to bring this perspective to the Being One festival, fostering meaningful connections and inspiring women to find strength in their own journeys.
Yan Lim is the CEO of iOli Communications Sdn Bhd, an award-winning PR agency she founded to champion women in communications and empower working mothers to thrive in leadership. Recognised as Prestige 40 Under 40, ASEAN Most Outstanding Woman Entrepreneur (2019) and Women in Business Award recipient (2022), Yan is also a dedicated mentor, trainer and advocate for gender equality. She co-founded FEMxTalk and HerChannel and serves on multiple boards including PRCA Malaysia, IPRM and the Malaysian Institute for Debate and Public Speaking.
A mother of four, Yan is celebrated for her mission-driven leadership and her commitment to elevating women and the next generation of communicators.
Lina Tan founded Red Communications in 1999, a leading Production Company dedicated to creating and producing content for various platforms. Lina created award winning Television shows like 3R (Respect, Relax, Respond) and also worked with Disney Channel, Discovery Channel and National Geographic.
In 2004 she started Red Films and was instrumental in supporting the new wave of Malaysian filmmakers that proceeded to shine at International Film Festivals. Then in 2009 she started 3R Media to recognize the importance of women’s role in society and their ability to challenge and change the conditions in their lives and communities through the use of Media. 3R Media recently won The UN Women 2024 Malaysia WEPs Awards SME Champion in Gender Responsive Marketplace Lina is one of the Co-founders of Suatukala, a social organization that brings KL Creative Practitioners to work, train and create new works with Youth and Arts communities in Langkawi Lina has won a couple of awards for her work.
Named one of 100 most influential women in 2019 Prestige Magazine, Lina has also been awarded Her World 50 Most Inspiring Woman Award in 2010 and Women’s Weekly Great Women of our Times Winner in Arts & Media 2010.
